Marian Sangalang, Vice President of The Bureaus, Inc., has been selected to present at FENCA Congress 2019, an event that gathers key executives from a worldwide network of credit management, debt collection, and debt purchase companies. FENCA Congress 2019 takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, September 25-27, 2019.
The FENCA Congress meets annually with a focus on formal meetings, discussions, and panels that center around national and transnational topics and regulations that are impacting the receivables management industry. This year, Representatives from RMAI (Receivables Management Association International) were invited as representatives for the United States receivables industry. Among the speakers invited to participate in the “Collection Around the Globe” Panel is Marian Sangalang, President of RMAI.
Mrs. Sangalang will help lead the FENCA Congress Panel discussion on the effect of collections on consumers and small businesses in the United States. The panel will seek to share information on topics such as factors that are driving consumer protection in the U.S. and how RMAI is working toward meeting those driving factors, the influence or conflict that the EU-GDPR may be having over collection efforts in the U.S., and whether or not RMAI is building a more constructive climate with consumers and small businesses.
“I am excited to represent The Bureaus, Inc., RMAI, and our nation’s receivables industry,” says Marian Sangalang, Vice President of The Bureaus, Inc. and President of Receivables Management Association International. “The FENCA Congress is going to be a great forum for gaining fresh viewpoints on debt, collections, and receivables management from across the globe. I am honored to be chosen for this panel and share the stage with creative problem solvers and innovative thinkers from around the world. Collaborating with our European colleagues is essential to making global connections that will provide important insight into how we can improve and enhance receivables services within each of our respective countries.”
